Though he struggled for almost six seasons in the minor leagues, he was learning the craft of pitching. Ultimately, the lanky, 6-foot-3 freckle-faced kid from Kentucky would win 224 games, throw no-hitters in both leagues (the latter being a perfect game inFather’s Day, June 21, 1964), get elected to the US Senate, and be voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee.
Measuring a perfectly sized 4" by 3.75", we’ve taken a Jim Bunning Spalding 42-163 model baseball glove and handcrafted this gorgeous vintage wallet. The look and feel of this leather is truly unique and trust us when we say it will only get better with time and use. The lighter colored stitching on the backside of the wallet provides a nice contrast amongst the subtle glove details. As you open the wallet, you’re greeted by more vintage glove leather that form the side load card pockets. A full length cash slot rounds out the functionality. As always, each of our wallets are one-off and you will never find another like it. Take a look at all the pictures and enjoy!
