The glove leather used to make this snap wallet / clutch came from pieces of two very old split finger gloves. As a general rule, split finger gloves normally date as pre-WW2 production. This leather looks and feels only like real vintage glove leather can. The inside is lined with soft modern leather and also has a smaller pocket to separate coins or whatever. The outside measures 4.25” by 7.75” for a size suitable to many uses. We can’t date this leather exactly, but I am confident this leather is approaching 80 years old.
