What an absolute piece of American baseball history right here! A vintage leather wallet hand crafted and hand stitched from a Junior Model Bill Dickey baseball glove. The glove that this wallet was made from was produced by Draper and Maynard Athletic Goods, a Plymouth, NH based sporting goods store from 1881-1930. Founded by locals Jason Draper and John Maynard in 1881, D&M transformed virtually overnight from a deerskin glove maker to a thriving sporting goods manufacturer. By some accounts, D&M gloves, mitts, and bats were used by upward of 90 percent of all big leaguers during the 1920's. There are features abound with this bi-fold wallet that includes a card ID flap. A large cash slot along the top provides ample space. On the inside left, there is a horizontal cash/card slot along with 3 vertical card slots. On the inside right, there is the exact same configuration. The card ID flap also includes a card slot underneath. Measuring 4.25" by 3.75", this is a perfect sized wallet that will grab anyone's attention.
